Solstice Becoming

Solstice becoming

Into the soft
velvet folds of the
dark I travel. Honoring the ancestors,
the Holy ones. Shining brilliance
sitting as one in the sacred
circle of silence. Blessings I
have freely received from this
time of Glorious,
diminishing light. Blessings I
now freely share. At this time of
of Holy Balance.

Between the the dark and the light
of Solstice Becoming.

Why do we resist?

That which is so freely given to us. The
Great Balance of nature that is at
once surrounding us, filling us and
flowing through us. Time now to
speak.

Our own words back into the
place of Intimate Personal
Balance. Allowing our

sacred souls and holy
bodies to once again
Become.

Fully.

Present in the center
of infinite beauty
and balance. Our
time.

Too speak from this
Balance. Uniquely our
own. Voice breathe silent no
more. Words of
Power. Seeking to
create. Willfully expanding
Greater Beauty and Infinite
Balance.

In the world
around us.

Greek Mythology Personality Test

I think.
Therefore I
Am not sure
About this one!

The Oracle

33% Extroversion, 66% Intuition, 44% Emotiveness, 71% Perceptiveness

Heuristic, detached, and analytical to a fualt, you are most like The Oracle. You are able to tackle any subject with a fine toothed comb, and you possess an ability to pinpoint nuances and shades of meaning that other people do not have and cannot understand. Accomplishment and realization of ideas are, for you, secondary to the rigorous exploration of ideas and questions -- you are, first and foremost, a theorist. You hate authority, convention, tradition, and under no circumstances do you accept a leadership role (although, you will gladly advise leadership when they're going astray, whether they want you to or not). Abstraction and generalities are your interests, details and particulars are usually inconsequential and uninteresting. You excel at language, mathematics and philosophy.

You are typically easy-going and non-confrontational until someone violates one of the very few principles that you deem sacred, at which point you can fly into a rage. Although you possess a much greater understanding of process and systems than the people around you, you are always conscious of the possibility that you've missed something or made a mistake. You don't tend to become attached to particular theories, and will immediately discard mistaken notions once they're revealed to be incorrect (but you don't tolerate iconoclasts who try to discredit validated theories through the use of fallacies and bad data). Despite being outwardly humble, you probably think of yourself as being smarter than most other people. That's because you are. In fact, in your dealings with people your understanding of their motives is so expansive that you know what they're going to say before they say it, and in world affairs, you usually know what is going to take place before it actually does. This ability would make you unbeatable in debates if only you were a little less pensive about your own conclusions, and a little more outgoing.

Famous people like you: Albert Einstein, Charles Darwin, Adam Smith, Thomas Jefferson, John McWhorter, Ramanujan, Marie Curie, Kurt Godel

Stay clear of: Apollo, Icarus, Hermes, Aphrodite

Seek out: Atlas, Prometheus, Daedalus

Healing meditation

Many times our less positive past experiences can seem to be overwhelming and create a less than balanced experience in the present. This healing meditation is designed to allow you direct access to the energetic component of all of your past experiences and allow you to not only gain the benefit of forgiveness, but give you the opportunity to let go of the past.

I highly recommend that you work on only one experience at a time. If you are working on numerous experiences with a particular individual I suggest you work on only one experience at a time. Please read this entire meditation through several times before beginning. If at any point you feel very uncomfortable during the meditation you should not continue.

It is important that before starting that you find a quiet, comfortable place to sit where you will not be disturbed for at least 45 minutes. I find it helpful to take a good hot shower (not a bath!) before starting. Wear loose-fitting, comfortable clothing. It is best to wait at least three to four hours after eating before beginning. I find that this meditation is really best done in the early evening. After finishing you will need a good rest.

You may wish to skip dinner altogether and to have someone else (if possible) have some soup ready for you when you are done. It is important that after finishing that you allow your self at least 2 to 4 hours of rest. You will have transmuted a great deal of energy and your physical body will be tired. Also while you will have made substantial progress in healing, the rest will allow you to not revisit the issue for several hours. When you awake you will notice a substantial clearing of energy in regards to your issue.

If you follow these steps you will have released most if not all the energy in regards to your issue. You will always be able to go back to the experience but you will have the strength to see it in a new light. However, once the issue is resolved I highly recommend that you just let it go. See it for the learning experience that it is and move on in gratitude.

This process is not about judging or blaming others. This is a very powerful meditation and the energies at work here are very real. Judging or blaming others during this meditation will only prolong your healing and make it that much more difficult to release these energies in the future.

1. While sitting in your meditation place pick an issue. It is probably best to pick a simple one until you are familiar with the process. For most people the first time the issue usually picks itself.

2. If you have a standard practice to begin your meditation that puts you in a relaxed an open place you can use this to begin.

3. Now begin to focus on your breathing. Follow the in and out breath without attempting to control the breath. Do this for 8 to 10 repetitions.

4. Next we will do a series of affirmations in conjunction with the breath work. It is important to focus on the energy connected with these affirmations as you are breathing. The first part of each affirmation is the same and you will repeat the words on the in breath.

The second part of each one is different and you will repeat it on the out breath. All three are done in order and the order is repeated each time. You repeat the affirmations in order 1, 2, and 3 and then start at 1 again. Do the affirmations for about 15 minutes.

In Breath..../ ....Out Breath

I Am..../ ...Whole and Complete

I Am .../ ..As Goddess/God created Me

I Am ... / ..Completely Safe

5. Now you will want to focus on the experience that you chose at the beginning. It is important to remember that this time during this experience you are in complete control. Now begin to replay the experience in your mind. Focus in a very clear and objective way on the conversation(s) you had and as best you can remember what each of you said.

6. When you finish replay only your portion of the conversation. If you see (and you will) places where you treated the other person unfairly, were rude, or just went on a relentless attack you will want to sincerely offer an apology and ask for forgiveness. Prepare the content of your apology and imagine placing it inside a beautifully wrapped package. Take this package and place it front of the person (in your mind). Bow three times and each time say I am sorry. Then leave. (Again in your mind) You are not concerned with what happens to the package or what they do with. You focus should be on making a sincere, no strings attached apology.

7. Take a few minutes to breath and repeat the affirmations for 1 to 2 minutes. You just want to recompose for the next step and not loose momentum.

8. Now replay their portion of the conversation. This time be absolutely quiet. Try to forget your original reaction. It sometimes helps to see your self as an uninterested third party taking notes. Listen very carefully. Now replay it again and focus on the point the other was trying to convey. Think about how you would convey the same point. When they are finished thank them for sharing in the most sincere way you can. Now ask them if there is anything else they would like to say. Very often you will receive a great deal of insight into your relationship(s) at this point. So, Listen carefully!

9. Next you need to imagine their entire conversation as a whole piece. Allow the conversation to take whatever energetic form that seems appropriate. Remember you are not being attacked here but merely listening to what was expressed without any judgment.

10. While looking at this energetic package begin to watch your breathing and repeat the affirmations. When you are ready you need to allow this package to fully enter your heart center. Continue to breath and repeat the affirmations. Very soon you will experience a deep sense of peace. When you do look into the eyes of the person and say:

“I have fully received your wondrous gift. Thank you for taking the time to share your wisdom with me.”

“I am most grateful for your gift, but it is no longer something I need.”

11. Now look deeply into your heart center, repeat the affirmations, and allow the energy you received to turn into pure love and light. Now repeat these words:

“I have transmuted your gift into pure love and I joyfully return it to you in the fullness of love and joy”

12. Now imagine that this “new” gift of love is flowing from your heart center to theirs. When the transfer is complete say:

“I am honored to have shared this learning opportunity with you. May all beings be blessed by the love we have shared today.”

13. Thank them again and return to your heart center. Focus on your breathing and begin the affirmations again. Do this for about 3 minutes or less. Slowly bring yourself out of your meditation. Stand up, and when you are ready bow one time and thank the universe for this healing opportunity.

The Magic Of the Modern Ones

Magic of the Modern Ones

In the Light of the morning

calm

A new day shines bright
What once was a tiny thought
Almost imperceptible, yet alive

in each of us

The appointed hour now arrived
We stand together in this moment
Now. We know why we are here

As we breathe in, it is called

into creation

Leaping out of the heart center of the multitudes
The circle of our own divine oneness
Embraces all beings in compassion
In perfect safety having let go of our fears
We stand face to face with the Holy Ones
In the Eyes of the Goddess and God we see Ourselves

With One voice we begin the magic:

By our actions
All beings now receive the courage
To take the next step on their own true path.

By our actions
All beings are learning the wisdom
Of their own perfect teacher.

By our actions
All beings realize their own Divinity
And are Enlightened

Love
Joy
One
Blessed be

In the Light of the morning calm
Each in our own uniqueness
Standing together claiming our Divinity
The magic has begun
Together we let go of all that has divided us
The light in each of us has dissolved doubt
Together We are Love, We are Joy, We are One

Foretold and repeated by the ancients
From age to age we have been reminded
This time of decision would come
Fueled by fear and nightmares from the past
In that place in our minds
The place where we dared not go
Upon the near horizon the riders race towards us

In the light of the morning calm
From the mind of the collective multitude
The ancient apparitions are now fully manifest
Never before have the riders been halted in their tracks
They speak as one with that ancient icy voice
Confused they ask, “ What Magic is this that we have been halted”?
Before the Circle of Divine Oneness stands the four horseman

The time of decision is at hand
We choose to become the magic
With One voice we address the riders
“Your hiding place we have revealed
Fear, Hatred, Violence, and Greed
Your names no longer scare us
Our love has brought you into the Light”

In the light of the morning calm
Holding hands and standing by each other
The Modern Ones, The Circle of Divine Oneness
With one voice we speak We are the Magic
We have made our decision
We have let go of the old ways of the old teachings
We are love, We are Understanding, We are Compassion, We are Abundance

The Magic is now fully manifest:

By Our Actions
At least one person who was afraid
Now receives the healing embrace
From Someone who Loves Them

By Our Actions
At least one person who was misunderstood
Is now being listened to
By Someone who Loves Them

By Our Actions
At least one person who believed they were under attack
Is shown that they are always perfectly safe
By the forgiveness of Someone who Loves Them

By Our Actions
At least one person who was without food
Is now receiving appropriate food
From Someone who Loves Them

By Our Actions
At least one person who was without clothing
Is now receiving appropriate clothing
From Someone who Loves Them

By Our Actions
At least one person who was without a place to live
Is Now receiving a safe place to live
From Someone who Loves Them

By Our Actions
At least one person is discovering
That in the Circle of Divine Oneness
Is the Love that They Are

Divine One
Divine Self
Divine and Sacred Companions
Thank you
Together We are Love
Together We are Joy
Together We are One.

Blessed BE

Peace is on the horizon

The thirst for power is quenched
When we choose to drink deeply
The healing waters from the river of gentleness

The need for control is lost
By choosing to stand firmly
On the ground of our own innate freedom

The seemingly never-ending quest for solutions
Is put to rest when we learn to
Express compassion towards all life on this planet

Choosing to put aside all agendas
Allowing ourselves to love and be loved
Causes the world of peace to rise on the near horizon
As assuredly as the stars light the night sky

What Price

What Price?

The two leaders embraced
Tears of joy in their eyes
A bear hug recorded by CNN
With the whole world watching
Eli the leader of Iraq and
Aaron the leader of Israel
In front of them an agreement
Brings peace and prosperity
Signed by all nations

The wind bites at them
Followed by the daggers of freezing rain
Well below zero no one knows for sure
Cold nights where whispers
Travel off into eternity
The screams of two women
In the last few moments of labor
Lying together under the roof
Of former packing crates and relief supplies

P-U-S-H ! P-U-S-H!
“It’s a miracle Said Roger”
“Two at once”
“Get more blankets” screams Norman
The birth mothers together
In one final scream
As if by some prearranged plan yell
ALLAH! YAWEH!
YAWEH! ALLAH!

At that moment two boys are born
They grow up together as brothers
Love so profound and expansive
All those around them are uplifted
Practically inseparable from birth
They live in a daily richness
In the faith and traditions of the other
Defying all conventions, they are as one
Eli and Aaron are born this night

Papers for you sign Dr. Phillips
“Can’t they stop that racket?” She says
“These people have less than nothing”
“At least let them catch a little sleep”
The supply sergeant apologizes
“It’s the build up you know”
“I’m not sure which is worse not helping at all
Or this useless charade of a relief camp!”
“The soldiers get all the blankets and food!”

“The CDC on the phone for you Ma’am
Yes I understand patient #A65107-HIV
I thought so too. A real breakthrough!
Sergeant! Get patient # A65107-HIV
Sorry, I mean little Katie Ayoob
Get her ready to transport for first thing in the morning
The CDC says it looks genetic, her siblings died of Aids
She should be dead too but …
I don’t understand … It just left her

Sipping his coffee
Looking back on his first days
As a sergeant in that camp
Even as a boy Harry wanted to save lives
Top of the class in every way, Passion they all said
After 20 years as a Secret Service Agent
He now headed the detail
That protects the President; the “Angel”
They called him had saved two Presidents already

The President now stood on the high platform
Through the binoculars Harry spots him
Harry’s heart pounds and his training kicks in
Go! … Now! Now!, Now! M-O-V-E!
Sniper on building A-6
The sniper, in place for 3 days begins to tense his right hand
The trigger on his Barrett .50 cal. rifle moves
Harry tackles the President, 500 yards away the bullet’s impact destroys a signpost
The stop sign, severed from its 4” post clangs to the ground

The alarm sounds
The two brothers
Roger and Norman pull on their black boots
The trucks from Ladder Company 28 roll
“Dammit!” says Norman “I hate these old high rises”
Roger, already on the radio
“Get City Services here now, and no I don’t care what time it is!”
Roger and Norman after 30 plus years were experts now
They knew the dangers these old buildings held

Those who were not careful
Who did not know their history
Would too late discover the damage
Unused oil tanks and poorly converted gas lines would bring
Norman and Roger knew and the crew of ladder 28 knew
It took hours but all were saved that cold wet night
Drinking coffee at the fire house Norman and Roger shake off the cold
They say to each other by the look in their eyes “Not as cold as that camp”!
What were their names? “Eli” said Roger. “Aaron” said Norman

The big ones cracked and fell
Trees and branches landed on men and equipment
It did not matter it was cold
The wood was needed for heat
All available men were ordered to their stations
“In coming bogey at Mach 1 sir”
“Target is acquired sir,
“Ready on your command” Fire! Came the command
As the rocket left its launcher a branch tore away a tail fin

“We’ve lost it sir” Lost it?
“Yes, must have been a malfunction”
“Running diagnostics now” Lost it! My ass!
Found it! “Rocket is not responding!” Impact in 3, 2, 1…
This just in from CNN:
A rocket destroyed a refugee camp
There were no survivors… The Defense Department says
We’ll probably never know. The weather will make
An accurate investigation impossible

Eli and Aaron are dead
Their peace accord never happened
Dr. Phillips and patient #A65107-HIV are dead
Katie’s breakthrough is lost
Sergeant Harry is dead
And with him three Presidents
Roger and Norman are dead
As are the 300 people in the fire that night
What price, that first cold wet night in the war with Iraq?

My vision ends
I weep

Whispers of youth

Great is the longing
To hear the mountains whisper
Springtime of my youth

There, then not

The love we cannot see
That sings and dances
Right under our noses

There

Then not
Or so we we believe

Gracefully intertwined
Through
Cells, heart and spirit

This is the love that knows us

This is the love we all know is there
We feel it deep in our bones

But, we say that we do not

Yet
Inwardly we all know

It is this

This love

That sets us all free

Wake

Which wake
Of consciousness
Do you choose to ride?

Those who
Choose to no longer
Be asleep

Create their own wake

Poem: What Use?

Of what use are my
Words of gentleness
Or tenderness

If you know only hatred
And violence

What sounds can my voice make
That will cause your heart
To resound with peace

From where does love gain
A foothold

When the holy books
Teach

That some people must

Die

It is time, don't you think
to let die

All those

Books who refuse
To love each other?

Poem Turns

Winding around
The still point of consciousness

In the center of the garden
The last cherry tree
Blossoms and bears fruit

Each of us in turn
Will do the same

Mmmmm

Very tasty indeed

I do the Haiku

Iridescent bright
The sound of the universe
Thunders coming change

Humble as if, dust
Winter ending sunrise bright
Birthing completeness

Rules protect! I'm told
Maintain the common order
Well guarded prison

Musings

A few musings

Longing to live in the Unbounded lands

Action that is based on knowledge that is not born of wisdom that has been birthed from compassion will only lead you in circles.

To know something is true in a universe of constant change is to be utterly misinformed.
