The Magic Of the Modern Ones

Magic of the Modern Ones In the Light of the morning calm A new day shines bright What once was a tiny thought Almost imperceptible, yet alive in each of us The appointed hour now arrived We stand together in this moment Now. We know why we are here As we breathe in, it is called into creation Leaping out of the heart center of the multitudes The circle of our own divine oneness Embraces all beings in compassion In perfect safety having let go of our fears We stand face to face with the Holy Ones In the Eyes of the Goddess and God we see Ourselves With One voice we begin the magic: By our actions All beings now receive the courage To take the next step on their own true path. By our actions All beings are learning the wisdom Of their own perfect teacher. By our actions All beings realize their own Divinity And are Enlightened Love Joy One Blessed be In the Light of the morning calm Each in our own uniqueness Standing together claiming our Divinity The magic has begun Together we let go...

Peace is on the horizon

The thirst for power is quenched When we choose to drink deeply The healing waters from the river of gentleness The need for control is lost By choosing to stand firmly On the ground of our own innate freedom The seemingly never-ending quest for solutions Is put to rest when we learn to Express compassion towards all life on this planet Choosing to put aside all agendas Allowing ourselves to love and be loved Causes the world of peace to rise on the near horizon As assuredly as the stars light the night sky

What Price

What Price? The two leaders embraced Tears of joy in their eyes A bear hug recorded by CNN With the whole world watching Eli the leader of Iraq and Aaron the leader of Israel In front of them an agreement Brings peace and prosperity Signed by all nations The wind bites at them Followed by the daggers of freezing rain Well below zero no one knows for sure Cold nights where whispers Travel off into eternity The screams of two women In the last few moments of labor Lying together under the roof Of former packing crates and relief supplies P-U-S-H ! P-U-S-H! “It’s a miracle Said Roger” “Two at once” “Get more blankets” screams Norman The birth mothers together In one final scream As if by some prearranged plan yell ALLAH! YAWEH! YAWEH! ALLAH! At that moment two boys are born They grow up together as brothers Love so profound and expansive All those around them are uplifted Practically inseparable from birth They live in a daily richness In the faith and traditions of the other Defying all ...

There, then not

The love we cannot see That sings and dances Right under our noses There Then not Or so we we believe Gracefully intertwined Through Cells, heart and spirit This is the love that knows us This is the love we all know is there We feel it deep in our bones But, we say that we do not Yet Inwardly we all know It is this This love That sets us all free

Poem: What Use?

Of what use are my Words of gentleness Or tenderness If you know only hatred And violence What sounds can my voice make That will cause your heart To resound with peace From where does love gain A foothold When the holy books Teach That some people must Die It is time, don't you think to let die All those Books who refuse To love each other?

Poem Turns

Winding around The still point of consciousness In the center of the garden The last cherry tree Blossoms and bears fruit Each of us in turn Will do the same Mmmmm Very tasty indeed

I do the Haiku

Iridescent bright The sound of the universe Thunders coming change Humble as if, dust Winter ending sunrise bright Birthing completeness Rules protect! I'm told Maintain the common order Well guarded prison

Musings

A few musings Longing to live in the Unbounded lands Action that is based on knowledge that is not born of wisdom that has been birthed from compassion will only lead you in circles. To know something is true in a universe of constant change is to be utterly misinformed.
